What is a vector file? Why do I need it?
A vector file contains a shape or series of shapes that do not distort when shifted or moved. Common vector formats are .eps or .ai, with the most common design program being Adobe Illustrator! You need a vector file as it is the easiest way for designers, colleagues, and printers to obtain a clear, clean and crisp logo or design for building a website, printing clothing, or publishing your business!
How is the cost of my design decided?
The cost of a logo for example, is determined by how long it takes to create, the number of requested revisions, and the number of logo renditions (i.e. full logo, wordmark, and multiple language layouts). Website design is determined by looking at what the project requires in estimated labour, type of design (info vs ecommerce vs both), the number of requested revisions, and section numbers (pages). These all add to the complexity of the project and the overall time and potential maintenance needs!
